26 years old, 100% Made in Italy; I don’t really dare calling myself a writer, but what else.
I began writing at the age of 6, as most of us do, and I began enjoying it at the age of 16, as most of us do.
Writing became a (non)real job during my residency at Fabrica. There I wrote a bit of everything: from ad campaigns to shopping lists, from short stories to daily blog entries. I also co-edited Fab Magazine and interviewed a few interesting people.
After that, the nerd inside of me really wanted to go back to school and the gypsy inside of me really wanted to go away. So I spent one year in Paris, studying at Université Saint-Denis.
Then I went back home, in Bergamo, Italy, and got my masters degree in Semiotics (University of Bologna).
I am now living in New Delhi with my Prince Charming who convinced me to follow him promising to buy me a big cow. But I am afraid he was joking.
Hi Annalisa!
I read about you on Fabrica and got hooked when I read that you are all set to go to New Delhi because I belong there! I am writing this mail to you as I really liked your creative approach. I am a 25-year old writer from India who started writing pretty early and loved and still loves every bit of it! Now, I would like to join a great college to learn more about the creative fields. This will surely help me become a better writer. Don’t you think?
I was wondering if you could spare some time and share with me your experience at Fabrica. Also if you have any ideas or suggestions about my plans of further study, please do let me know!
I hope to hear from you soon… and probably host you for a lunch or coffee when you are finally in New Delhi
Warm regards,
Astha
